Laminating Cutting board are often made of wood or plastic. There are also chopping boards made of glass which are easier to clean than the wooden or plastic ones, but are damaging to the knives. Sanitation with cutting boards is delicate, because bacteria can reside in grooves produced by cutting, or in liquids left on the board. For this reason, it is often advised to cut raw meat on separate cutting boards from cooked meat, vegetables or other foods. Cutting boards should be treated when they start looking dry to prevent cracking. A standard recommendation is 5-7 times a year, or as needed.

Wooden Pallets is a flat transport structure designed to support a variety of goods in a stable fashion while being lifted by any mobile forklift, pallet jack, or other jacking device. The goods are placed on top of the pallet, and can be secured to it by straps or stretch-wrapped plastic film.While the majority of pallets are made of wood, pallets manufactured from plastic, metal, and paper can also be found. Each material has pros and cons (cost, environmental impact, etc.) depending on which industry is using the pallets and which variables it is trying to maximize or minimize.

Vacuum Packing is a method of storing food and presenting it for sale. Appropriate types of food are stored in a vacuum environment, usually in an air-tight bag or bottle. The vacuum environment removes atmospheric oxygen and any free moisture making it very difficult for bacteria or fungi to grow thus preventing the food from spoiling. Vacuum packing is commonly used for storing dry foods such as cereals , nuts , cured meats , cheese and smoked fish . However, it is also used for storing fresh foods such as fresh-picked vegetables, fresh meats and liquids such as soup broth and water.
